1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Hours of Protection mobile application ("Application", "App", "we", "our", or "us") collects, how we use it, when we share it, and what rights you have regarding your personal information.
By creating an account and using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not use the Application and remove it from your device.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1. Account Information
Email address. Used to create your account, authenticate you, recover your password, and communicate with you.
Password. Stored only in encrypted form using Firebase Authentication.
Username. Automatically generated or selected by you. Visible to your friends and used for search within the Application.
2.2. Profile Information
Profile photo (avatar). Uploaded at your discretion.
Email verification status. Indicates whether your email address has been verified.
2.3. Activity Information
Protection sessions. Includes the start and end date and time, session status (active or completed), and activity category (walking, running, cycling, hiking, or other).
Starting location. Latitude and longitude of where a protection session begins. This information is stored only within your private account and is never shared with other users, including your friends.
Aggregated statistics. Total number of protection sessions, total duration, and the date of your most recent activity. These statistics may be visible to your friends.
2.4. Social Information
Your friends list, incoming and outgoing friend requests.
Your blocked users list.
2.5. Reports and Support Requests
Reports submitted through the Application, including the identifiers of the reporting and reported users, the selected reason, and any comments you provide.
Email correspondence with our support team.
2.6. Technical Information
Crash reports collected through Firebase Crashlytics.
Performance metrics collected through Firebase Performance Monitoring.
Anonymous usage analytics collected through Firebase Analytics and AppMetrica.
Application version, operating system version, device model, country, and language settings.
2.7. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
Advertising identifiers (IDFA, IDFV) for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Contacts, photo library contents, calendar data, or information from other applications installed on your device.
Financial or payment information.
Biometric or health-related information.
Background location data. Location permission is requested only when you explicitly start a protection session and only after granting permission through your device's operating system.
