How to Add Products on Wix?

Your products are the core component of your online store.
Wix Stores allows you to sell both physical products (such as posters) and digital downloadable products (such as eBooks, audio files, or images).).
To add a physical product to your store:
Go to the Store Products tab in your site dashboard.
Click + New Product.
Select Physical.
Add product photos, GIFs, or videos.
Main Information in a Wix Product Card
Enter the product name in the Name field (maximum 80 characters).
If needed, you can add a product ribbon (for example, “New”): enter new text in the Ribbon field or start typing a previously used ribbon and select it from the list.
Tip: The ribbon will appear on the product in the gallery on your website.
Enter the product price in the Price field.
If needed, you can add a product ribbon (for example, “New”): enter new text in the Ribbon field or start typing a previously used ribbon and select it from the list.
Enter the product price in the Price field.
Enter the product description in the Description field and use the toolbar to format the text. (You can enter up to 8000 characters.)
Additional Sections in the Product Card
You can provide customers with all the necessary product information (for example, shipping or payment instructions) by adding an information section. You can also include a table. The information section will appear on the product page.
Click + Add Info Section.
Enter a title in the Info Section Title field.
Enter the text in the Description field and use the toolbar to format it.
If needed, click the Table icon to add a table.
Click OK.
Tip: You can add the same information section to multiple products at once.
Customer Notes Field in the Product Card
If you need to collect additional information from your customers, you can add a custom text field.
Tip: Click + Add Custom Text Field.
Enter the name of the field.
Specify the maximum number of characters allowed.
If necessary, check Required Field so customers cannot purchase the product without filling in this field.
If needed, click + Add to create another custom text field.
Product Options
You can sell products in different colors, sizes, styles, and other variations by creating product variants.
Terminology
Most customers are familiar with product variants, but when adding them in Wix Stores, some terminology may be confusing. Below are three terms you should understand:
Product OptionsThis refers to the type of option, for example “Color.”
Option ChoicesThis refers to the specific selections available within an option. For example, if the option is “Color,” the choices might be “Blue” or “Green.”
Product VariantsThis refers to the specific versions of a product that you sell. For example, if your product has two options (such as size and color), and each option has two choices (for example, small or large, blue or green), then your product will have four variants:
Small, Blue
Small, Green
Large, Blue
Large, Green
How Many Product Options, Option Choices, and Product Variants Can You Create?
Product Options:Each product can have up to 6 product options.
Option Choices:Each option can include up to 100 choices.
Product Variants:You can manage a total of 300 product variants for a single product.
After setting this up, customers will see the image corresponding to the selected product variant during the purchase process.
Note: You can link an image to a single product option, but not to a specific variant. This means you can associate an image with an option such as Color or Length, but not with a combination of options (for example, Blue + Long or Blue + Short).
Inventory and Shipping
You can track your inventory. In this case, each time a sale is made, the stock quantity is automatically updated. You can also manually mark whether a product is in stock or out of stock.
Note: If you have created product variants, you can track inventory for each variant separately.
