Logging in to Wix. What to do if you forgot your password?

If you can’t log in to your Wix account because you forgot your password, you can receive a password reset link to your email. From there, you will be able to create a new password to log in to your Wix account.

To receive a password reset link by email:

1. Click the Forgot password or email? link in the Wix login window.

2. Click I don’t remember my password.

3. Enter the email address associated with your Wix account.

4. Check your email and follow the instructions in the message to create a new password.

If your email address exists in our system, you will receive an email with a password reset link. Be sure to check your spam or junk mail folders.

If you did not receive the email, it’s possible that your email address was entered incorrectly when the account was created. To check this, send us your username and the URL of your Wix website.

Tips: If you use Firefox or Chrome and have allowed your browser to save passwords, you may be able to view your password:

• Firefox: open the Settings menu > Security > Saved Passwords.
  

• Chrome: click the three dots next to your profile picture > select Settings > open the Passwords section > find the Wix account > click the Show icon.
